Solar Service Technician

We are seeking a Solar Service Technician to grow their career in the solar field. Requirements 

  • Prior Solar Service Technician experience is required 
  • 3+ years of recent Electrical or Solar Service Tech / Field Experience Required 
  • 2+ years of experience Diagnosing and Troubleshooting DC/AC systems 
  • Valid Drivers License & ability to pass background check and drug screening. 
  • Able to properly read blueprints and safely use all power tool equipment. 
  • NABCEP certification is Preferred 
  • Fluent in English (Bilingual is Preferred) 

Responsibilities 

  • Diagnose/troubleshoot both Rooftop Solar and Downstairs Electrical Installations 
  • Provide solutions to various system issues (envoy reconnects, CT issues, etc.) 
  • Replace malfunctioning solar hardware 
  • Travel with company vehicles to multiple job sites (daily) 
  • Communicate with the homeowner prior to/during a service site visit 
  • Coordinate with Field Service Supervisors to provide updates on work performed 
  • Assist with the removal and reinstalls as needed
