The Powerwall 3 offers 11.5 kW of continuous power supply, which is 130% more than the Powerwall 2. This means you can run more appliances without exceeding the battery’s power limit and extend usage time of your appliances during an outage.
A single Powerwall 3 can power most of your appliances including lights, refrigerators, air conditioning units, pool equipment, water heaters, laundry machines, dishwashers and more to help you achieve true whole home backup.
The Powerwall 3 has a 185 LRA which means it can handle larger instantaneous power increases so that your appliances can start and run smoothly without causing problems or having the battery shutdown.
Each Powerwall 3 can stack up to 3 Expansion packs, cheaper and easier to install, for a total rating of 54 kWh. Additionally, you can stack up to 4 Powerwall 3’s which boasts an impressive 216 kWh of power on a single phase supply!
The Powerwall 3 can handle a system size of 20 kW DC which means you can store energy from a larger system size reducing the amount of batteries you may require in order to power your home or business!
